About the role
We seek a client accountant to join the team at Spotlight. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- VAT return preparation
- Client bookkeeping (Xero Based)
- Client payrolls – payroll processing, HMRC Submissions, preparing payment files
- Client Xero Support
- Assisting with client onboarding
Requirements
- Experience in payroll and/or bookkeeping (training can be given for knowledge gaps)
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong technical skills this role will be working with our bot provider to automate a lot of the bookkeeping and payroll processes
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Salary: £28,000.00-£35,000.00 FTE
